The campus which opened in January 2005, has over 2,800 students from over 90 nationalities and offers
undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in a wide variety of subject areas.

Middlesex University is one of the largest Universities in the UK with origins dating back to the opening of St. Katherine’s College, Tottenham, London in 1878.
With over 40,000 students worldwide from over 130 countries, Middlesex University is widely regarded as an excellent international provider of higher education with an outstanding academic credentials and highly employable and successful graduates. About 30 per cent of these are international students. 22,000 study on Middlesex’s London campuses. A further 5,000 study on programmes validated by Middlesex but provided by the University’s partners in the UK. Middlesex University opened its first ever campus outside London in January 2005 in the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Since then, the University has opened a campus in Mauritius (2010) and has announced plans for international ventures in a number of strategic locations around the world.
Middlesex University is audited by the UK’S Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education which has consecutively given the University the highest possible rating, the latest of which was received in 2009. The audit report also praised the ‘meticulous attention’ given to the establishment, development and integration of the University’s Dubai campus.
Middlesex University offers over 185 undergraduate and 130 postgraduate programmes in the UK in addition to over 200 programmes offered through its extensive network of academic partners. Furthermore, the University is one of its kind in terms of offering nearly 100 programmes internationally (overseas) through partnerships and affiliates.

All programmes offered in Dubai are validated in London to ensure the same standard of academic rigour and a comparable student experience are maintained across the campuses.
Students can transfer between Dubai and London campuses during their programmes.

From an inaugural graduating ceremony in 2005/06 with just 8 graduates from 4 programmes to over 2,000 graduates in 2012, Middlesex University Dubai has seen an incredible growth in its alumni network which has exceeded 1,500 in 2011.
